VETERANS, DON'T LEAVE MONEY ON THE TABLE~
Disabled veterans have the right to apply for Social Security disability benefits (SSDI), regardless of the cause of disability. Any SSDI benefit awarded will be in addition to VA retirement or VA disability payments.
There are several major differences between the VA disability process and the SSDI process. For one, Social Security does not recognize any partial disability. It is all or none. This makes the burden of proof different, too.
Veterans may qualify for faster disability processing at Social Security. If you have a 100 percent permanent VA disability rating, you may be able to get benefits started within 3 to 4 months.
The Forsythe Firm has been helping disabled veterans for years and we have a proven track record. For a free consultation, or just to ask questions, please call us.
